I hate driving

I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way, but imagine having a former military training instructor as your teacher... who makes you do EVERYTHING that scares you (like going up a steep hill on a narrow road with other cars coming down). I had a huge panic attack that lasted about 15 minutes and I'm still jittery. Why is driving a thing. Why can't we have driverless cars already? That would make the world a better place for anxious people.
